Bio – Fiona Tuck

“Nutrition is the grass roots of good health”

Fiona Tuck is a Skincare Expert, accredited Nutritional Medicine Practitioner and a member of the Australian Society of Traditional Medicine. Her training in nutritional medicine, combined with over 25 years’ experience across multiple health and wellness disciplines is the foundation to her holistic approach to nutritional health.

Having successfully built Australia’s fastest growing professional skincare brand Skinstitut (as recognised in the BRW’s fastest 100 for 2012), Fiona now devotes her time to exposing food and diet misconceptions, working with individuals to determine their nutritional deficiencies, and educating them on how to correct these for better health.

Fiona specialises in using the holistic diagnostic techniques of face and body reading to identify signs of internal disharmony. Skin discolouration, markings, abnormal hair texture and poor nail health can all help to determine nutritional needs. She uses this technique in conjunction with traditional blood testing to assist in determining which nutrients are lacking in the diet and what foods need to be introduced to improve health and wellbeing.

There are so many misconceptions about what healthy eating really is. Fiona believes our notion of healthy eating is getting lost, and that we are becoming nutritionally deficient due to farming methods, poor soil quality, food processing, digestive issues and poor “healthy” food choices.

Fiona’s philosophy is simple! Most health conditions can be traced back to a nutritional deficiency.

Fiona loves brussel sprouts, is a nutrition geek and a self-confessed “glippie” with a love for all things wholesome and glamourous. Her unique, intuitive and empathetic diagnostic technique is rapidly making Fiona known in the industry as ‘The Face Reader’. Fiona’s in-depth knowledge and insight into future trends within the health industry has made her a sought-after industry speaker, television, radio and media expert. She has appeared on Channel 7’s “The Morning Show”, Network Ten's “Studio 10”, ABC radio and is a popular industry keynote speaker. Her articles and expert commentary have been published across,, Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, Courier Mail, Adelaide Advertiser, Perth Now and across the APN Newspaper Group - as well as leading trade publications.

Fiona’s holistic approach to nutritional health is driven by her mantra - ‘Nutrition is the grass roots of good health’

She undertakes private consultations in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and advises and presents to corporations on wellness, the power of nutritional health and how to make life better. Fiona is an educator, presenter and posts and interacts daily on Facebook and Twitter.
