Table Salt versus Pink Himalayan Salt

Table Salt versus Pink Himalayan Salt

You may or may not have heard of Pink Himalayan Salt. Once you make the switch from table salt to Himalayan Salt... you won't switch back, and for good reason!

Table salt is more heavily processed to eliminate minerals and usually contains an additive to prevent clumping. You may notice how table salt is more refined, table salt it has been stripped of their minerals during processing. Table salt is created by taking natural salt and cooking it at 1200° Fahrenheit. Once the unprocessed salt is heated up to this temperature, it starts to lose the majority of the eighty important elements that are naturally occurring. Other naturally occurring forms of sodium, including sea salts and Himalayan salts, are harvested and dried in the sun

Table salt has all of its minerals removed, which would otherwise help to balance the blood pressure. Consequently, table salt causes gross blood pressure fluctuations, instead of stabilizing it. This well-known danger has created an entire industry of "low sodium" foods.

What about the color of table salt? Salt found in the natural world is not usually white. Table salt has been colored white with bleach......BLEACH.

Ok, now I assume I have your attention into wanting to make the switch to a more natural and healthy option, yes?

Pink Himalayan salt is not only a more natural and safe option, it helps with the following:

  • Create an electrolyte balance
  • Increases hydration
  • Regulate water content both inside and outside of cells
  • Balance pH (alkaline/acidity) and help to reduce acid reflux
  • Prevent muscle cramping
  • Aid in proper metabolism functioning
  • Strengthen bones
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Help the intestines absorb nutrients
  • Prevent goiters Improve circulation
  • Dissolve and eliminate sediment to remove toxins
